Being
a PeaceBuilder reveals our character by showing how we act when we
think no one is watching. It is what a person is inside. It shows in
how we treat each other. Being a PeaceBuilder helps us to develop good
ethical values, the ability to distinguish right from wrong, and a
commitment to do the right thing, even when it is uncomfortable or
inconvenient.
The PeaceBuilders Pledge
I am a PeaceBuilder.
I pledge...
To praise people
To give up put-downs
To seek wise people
To notice hurts and speak up about hurts I have caused
To right wrongs
To help others
I will build peace at home, at school, and in my community each day.
A Message from the Counselor Mrs. Rosa Lopez
We
just want to remind the PeaceBuilders about the importance of being
grateful. Grateful means to increase your satisfaction with your life
and allows you to appreciate your success. Let's all keep building peace at
Olivewood by practicing the PeaceBuilder Pledge on a daily basis.
