National School District school meals are planned
to reflect the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and student preferences. It is a
continuous process that requires the cooperative efforts of students, Child
Nutrition Services, and the food industry. Different entree
choices are offered at both breakfast and lunch to provide variety for our
students and to accommodate different food preferences. Additionally,
a variety of fruits and vegetables are offered to help increase our students' interest in eating produce, and to promote healthy eating habits.
